Birmingham City up their offer for Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet

Last updated : 31 January 2021 By Steve Forbes

According to the Daily Record, Birmingham City have come back in with an increased offer for Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet.

The Hibees rejected an offer of £2m earlier in the week, but the report now states that the Blues second offer is somewhere between £2.5m-£3m.

Nisbet was dropped to the bench for yesterdy's 2-0 win over Dundee United, following the week of speculation surrounding his future, but it's not thought he has asked to leave Easter Road.

He has hit 13 goals in 30 games since signing from Dunfermline Athletic in a £250,000 deal in the summer, and could soon have a decision to make on his next move.

A much better offer, especcially if it's closer to £3m.

Hibs will most likely insist on a sell-on fee inserted in the deal aswell.

The only problem is, there is pretty much zero time for the club to bring in a replacement should the dal go through.

We were already lacking in numbers up-front, losing Nisbet and not replacing him would be a hammer blow for our season.
