Falkirk keeper Dani Mallo touts himself to Hibs boss John Hughes!!

Hibs boss John Hughes has tonight been sent a "come and get me" plea by Falkirk keeper Dani Mallo.

Hughes has apparently already been in touch with Mallo over a possible summer transfer to Edinburgh, and the player seems keen.

The 30-year-old former Deportivo La Coruna keeper has been a bit of a revelation since joining the Bairns on a 6 month deal in January, playing well as Falkirk survived relegation and played well, despite narrowly losing, to Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final.

The Spanish keepers contract runs out at the end of the month, meaning he can sign on at Easter Road on a free transfer.

Hibs currently only have error prone Belgian keeper Yves Ma-Kalambay and youngster Thomas Flynn on their books, and are in desperate need of an experienced keeper.

Mallo has now made it known that he would like to follow Hughes to Easter Road, he said:

"Hibs are a great club with history and passion and the coach already knows me."
