Former Hibs striker O'Connor signs for Tom Tomsk

Former Hibs striker Garry O'Connor has today been unvieled as a Tom Tomsk player, having agreed a deal with the Russian outfit.

The 29-year-old left the Hibees when his contract ran out on June 1st, having finished the club's top goalscorer on 16 goals.

O'Connor returns to Russia, having previously played for Lokomotiv Moscow, who he joined from the Hibees for £1.6m in 2006.

This time however, he will be playing in Russia's version of Division 1, after Tomsk were relegated last season.

O'Connor joins on a 2-year-deal, with reports in some quarters, having the player on a reported, £12,000 a week.
