Former Hibs youngster Jamie McCluskey has got himself a trial period with Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade.

The 20-year-old
Hibernian Youth Academy product has been set up with the trial by his agent and former Celtic player Rudi Vata.

McCluskey graduated from the youth set-up at Easter Road and made his debut as a 16-year-old against
Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

He went on to play 18 times for the Hibees, scoring one goal in the process, against Peterhead in the winning CIS Cup campaign in 2006/07.

Former Hibs boss John Collins released the little winger last summer, and he joined first division side St Johnstone, but after only 5 appearances for the
Perth club and a horrendous injury nightmare, he was released by the McDiarmid Park club.

Partizan have won the title 20 times and the cup 10 times in their history and play in front of some big crowds.

McCluskey's new home?

Their ground, Stadion Partizana (once known as Stadion JNA), holds 33,000, but they are to build a new stadium soon.

Good luck to Jamie from everyone at Hibernian-Mad.
