Fulham & Rennes join the chase for Hibs star Sol Bamba

It has been revealed today that Hibs defender Sol Bamba is wanted by a number of clubs across Europe.

Liverpool, his old club Paris St Germain and Blackburn Rovers have already been credited with an interest in the Ivory Coast international, but two other clubs have now joined the race for his signature.

English Premiership side Fulham and French cracks Rennes are the latest two sides to be linked with Bamba, and both are to represented at Tannadice tomorrow afternoon, for the Hibees do or die clash with Dundee Utd, as they go on the hunt for Europa League football next season.

Bamba, 25, has been a revelation at Easter Road, since signing from first division side Dunfermline in 2007 for £50,000, forcing himself on to the international scene, where he is now a regular.

Hibs will struggle to hold on to the big defender this summer, especially if he performs well at the World Cup, and bids are expected around the £2m mark.

Should Hibs sell, Dunfermline are due a 10% sell on figure, due to a clause inserted in his contract when he arrived at in Leith from the Fife club.
