Hibs have handed youngster Damon Gray a boost, with the news that the young forward will stay at Thistle for another month.

Gray, 19, was initially loaned to Partick on a one month emergency loan deal, but such has his impact been, that Jags boss Ian McCall contacted Hibees boss Mixu Paatelainen for permission to extend the deal.

The English born forward has been a revelation at Partick scoring four goals in six games, including a goal in the 1-1 Scottish Cup Quarter Final draw with Rangers at Ibrox.

He also hit a double against
Clyde on his debut and a goal against Livingston at Almondvale.

Gray was to return to the Hibees after Saturday's game against St Johnstone, but Hibees boss Paatelainen has given the player the go ahead to stay at Firhill, allowing Damon to play against Rangers in the Scottish Cup replay.

Good news for the lad, more first team experience for a player destined to be a massive Hibs player in the future.
