Hibernian-Mad understands that the Hibees are back in the race for Falkirk Midfielder Scott Arfield.
The 21-year-old is being tracked by a host of clubs, including Southampton, Swansea, Leeds United and Hearts, with Hibs now throwing their hat back in the ring.
According to Hibernian-Mad’s source, the Hibees have already made contact with Falkirk, and negotiations are on-going with the Bairns.
Hibs had THREE bids turned down for the Scotland U21 international in the summer, the highest said to be £400,000.
We here at Hibs-Mad HQ have been told that John Hughes is desperate to land the exciting young prospect, and may be willing to throw a couple of fringe players at Easter Road into the deal.
