Hibs boss Neil Lennon is close to securing his first January transfer window signing according to the Scottish Sun.
According to the tabloid, The Hibees are set to secure the signing of Sporting Lisbon midifelder Ryan Gauld.
The former Dundee United winger is expected to sign for the Hibees on loan until the end of the season and join up with the squad on the club's mid-season training break in Dubai - they fly out this weekend.
Gauld joined the Portugese giants in a £3m deal from Tannadice in 2014, and he has had spells on loan with Vitoria de Setubal, Aves on loan and is currently at Farense.
English side Bristol City were also said to be keen, but it seems Hibs have beaten off the competition
After 5 years abroad, it looks like the 23-year-old is heading home to Scotland.
