Hibs boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that he has offered a trial to out-of-contract Italian midfielder Fausto Rossi.
Rossi, 25, is a free agent after leaving Italian giants Juventus, and Lennon has offered the former Real Valladolid man a chance to impress at East Mains.
The Hibees are looking to bolster their midfield, as they face an injury crisis with John McGinn, Fraser Fyvie & Alex Harris all facing lengthy time on the sidelines.
The Hibs boss said:
“He’s not got a club and we’ve made contact with his agent, but that’s as far as it’s gone.
"We’ve asked him to come in and train with us for a few days but we’re waiting on confirmation of that.”
