Hibs kid Dermott McCaffrey was this afternoon called up to the Northern Ireland U-21 squad, to face the Scotland U-20's in a challenge match.

Northern Ireland U-21 manager Roy Millar has called up the promising defender to his seventeen man squad for the game at Partick Thistle's Firhill Stadium on on Thursday night.

McCaffrey has just recently made the breakthrough in to the first team, when he made his debut against
at Pittodrie in a 2-2 draw, unfortunately he was sent off for two bookable offences.
