Last updated : 13 November 2007 By Steve Forbes

Hibs kid Dermott McCaffrey has been called up to the Northern Ireland U21 squad.

McCaffrey has been called into the squad to face
Luxembourg and Moldova in two European qualification matches at Mourneview Park, home of Glenavon.

The 21-year-old centre half is currently on loan at First Division side Livingston and has been playing quite regularly. He also spent part of last season on loan down in
Dumfries at Queen of the South.

McCaffrey has SEVEN caps for the U21 squad so far.

Well done Dermott, another product of the Hibernian youth academy gets international recognition.
