Hibs striker has today been name Clydesdale Bank SPL Player of the Year for 2012/13.

It's been an incredible few weeks for the on loan Hibees goal machine, having landed the Sun Newspaper SPL Player of the Year, the Hibernian FC Club Player of the Year, the SPFA Young Player of the Year, and now the Clydesdale Bank SPL Player of the Year.

Celtic's Victor Wanyama was named Young Player of the Year, and Motherwell boss Stuart McCall landed the Managers award.

Griffiths will also be in the running for the Scottish Football Writers' Player and Young Player of the Year Awards.

The 22-year-old also scored his 28th goal of the season yesterday, as the Hibees beat Hearts 2-1 in the Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle, with a sublime 35 yeard free kick.

Well done Leigh, keep the goals coming and become a legend at Hampden in two weeks!
