Hibs midfielder Liam Miller has today been awarded the SPL Player of the Month for October.

The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been in scintillating form since singing for the Hibees in September.

Miller is delighted with his award, and also revealed he is pleased with how his Hibs career is going.

The former Man Utd and Celtic player said:

"I'm enjoying myself day in and day out which I hadn't done for a year," Miller told the SPL website.

"As long as I am happy here, I don't see why I shouldn't stay. I can definitely see myself being here for the long term."

"I have found it really welcoming here and I felt straight away I'd made the right decision,"
said Miller.

"We have a really good bunch of lads and a lot of characters in the team.

We are getting the right results on the pitch and we are training really hard and it's paying off."
