Hibs linked with £150,000 move for Clyde youngster Pat Clarke

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has today been linked with a £150,000 bid for Clyde hit man Pat Clarke.

The 23-year-old former Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath and Raith Rovers striker has been on fire for the Bully Wee this season, scoring 9 goals in 16 appearances for the Scottish First Division side.

The Hibees are thought to be monitoring the young forward as he continues to impress visiting scouts at Broadwood.

It's thought Paatelainen could face competition for the forward, with Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall, Motherwell and his former club Dunfermline Athletic also thought to be keeping an eye on Clarke.

Dunfermline are even thought to be attempting to nip in ahead of the pack and agree a deal in principle with Clyde for the player.
