Hibs have today been linked with a January move for Glenavon star man Mark Sykes.
According to the Glenavon boss Gary Hamilton, Hibs have had the midfielder watched, but will face competition for his signature.
He said:
"Hibernian, Port Vale, Blackburn - I could reel them off. There have been loads of clubs watching.
"As of yet, we’ve only had one bid which was knocked back ten days ago."
"We are in dialogue with the club, but we are not there yet so that is all I can say."
Hibs boss Neil Lennon will need to work hard to get the 21-year-old in a green and white shirt come January.
