Hibs have tonight agreed to sell Northern Ireland international midfielder Dean Shiels to English Championship side Doncaster Rovers.
The 23-year-old former Arsenal youth player is in Doncaster discussing a contract and will sign pending a medical.
It's still unclear how much the fee involved is, but Shiels only has 6 months remaining on his contract at Easter Road and it seems Hibs have cut their losses and accepted the bid.
Shiels was part of the Hibees Scottish League Cup winning squad of 2007 and is popular with the Easter Road support, who will be disappointed with his departure.
He has played 120 games for the Hibees, scoring 24 goals in the process.
Shiels has also been capped 7 times by Northern Ireland since signing for the Hibees in the summer of 2004 from Arsenal.
