Hibs midfielder Stevie Mallan set for 200k move to Yeni Malatyaspor

Hibs midfielder Stevie Mallan is currently on his way to Turkey to complete a move to Yeni Malatyaspor.

The Turkish Super Lig side have agreed a fee in the region of £200,000 with the Hibees for the former St Mirren man.

25-year-old Mallan spent the second half of last season on loan with the Turks, playing 17 games and scoring twice.

Mallan has already spoken about how he enjoyed his time abroad, and it now seems he is set to complete a permanent deal.

Editor's View:

A difficult one.

Mallan on his day is a cracking little player, who has scored some outrageous goals for Hibs.

However, he drifts out of games, and it led to him losing his place under Jack Ross last season.

£200,000 is a decent fee, but it MUST be re-invested in the squad.

Hibs ran with a small squad last season, and have now lost more players than we have signed.

We need a good 4-5 signings, including a quality centre back, let's hope Jack Ross has a few aces up his sleeve.
