Hibs forward Mickael Antoine-Curier is at the centre of a tug-of-war between two Scottish First division sides for his signature.

The 25-year-old Frenchman, who joined the Hibees in the summer of 2007, has been told he can leave Easter Road by Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen.

The striker spent the last part of the season on loan at
Dundee and scored a barrowload of goals in the Dark Blues failed bid to reach the SPL.

Dundee have offered the 6ft 3in forward a deal and it's thought an agreement is imminent, although Livingston boss and former Hibs coach Mark Proctor is ready to hijack the deal.

Curier scored nine goals while on loan and has said he would like to make the move permanent.

Curier said:

"The gaffer has said he wants to keep me at Dundee and they have held talks with my agent,

"I will go back to Hibs next week and will be training with the boys and then I will speak to Mixu to see what is happening."

"I have loved every minute of being here and I am gutted that we didn't win the league.

"But this is a good club and I am sure they will have a great chance next season."

Curier didn't really impress in a Hibs shirt, although he did score four goals in twelve games for the Hibees and is on his way out.
