Hibs pair Morais and Gatheussi to go on loan to Inverness CT

Hibs have agreed to loan two of their fringe players to fellow SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle for the rest of the season.

Felipe Morais and Thierry Gatheussi have agreed to head to the Highlands on loan for the rest of the season pending medicals.

Both players are out of contract at the end of the season, and this loan deal will more than likely mean they have played their last game for the Hibees.

Portuguese U21 winger Morais joined the Hibees in the summer of 2007 from English side Millwall but has failed to hold down a regular starting berth at Easter Road.

Morais, 23, was recently charged with assault at the Edinburgh Sheriff Court following a skirmish with a city casino bouncer, virtually putting the final nail in the coffin of his Hibs career.

Cameroon international full back Gatheussi also joined Hibs in the summer of 2007 for a fee of about £30,000 from French side FC Sete.

Gatheussi, 26, who holds a French passport, has also failed to hold down a regular spot in the Hibs side since arriving 18 months ago.

With both players likely to leave when their loan deals with ICT finish, everyone at Hibernian-Mad would like to wish them the best of the luck for the future.
