Hibs boss John Collins has revealed that he expects super kids Steven Fletcher and Ross Chisholm to be fit for the clash with St Mirren at Easter Road on Saturday.

Fletcher was withdrawn from play at half time during the 2-1 defeat away at Motherwell at the weekend, after he had put the Hibees in the lead from the penalty spot, but Collins is confident Fletch will make it.

The Hibees boss said:

"Fletch's ankle is a bit sore, He should be fine, though. He has a bit of bruising and a bit of swelling but will hopefully be okay for the weekend.

"There's no serious damage and it's just a case of allowing the swelling to go down.

"It was the same ankle that kept him out the Scotland Under-21s game but he was able to play for forty five minutes before having to come off.

"He had an X-ray on Saturday night but thankfully the results came back fine.

"He's been playing well and scoring goals so you certainly don't want too many injuries."

The Hibees gaffer also revealed that midfielder Ross Chisholm, 19, had also picked up a knock at Motherwell but that he would also be fit for the arrival of the Buddies.
