According to the Edinburgh Evening News, Hibs have pulled out of a deal for Man City youngster Morgan Rogers.

The Hibees had been keen to take the 19-year-old to Easter Road on loan for the rest of the season, but have abandoned the deal, after the player made it clear he wants to stay in England.

Rogers has spent the first half of this season on loan with Bournemouth, but despite making 15 appearances he has only started once.

Man City wanted to recall him and send hm back out on another loan, with Huddersfield now said to be the front runners.

Hibs-Mad View:

The lad looks to be an exciting prospect, and it's dissapointing that he doesn't see Easter Road as his next stop.

If he wants to stay in England then nothing can be done

The Hibees will now have to cast their eye on other targets.
