Hibs reject paltry 500k Aberdeen offer for Martin Boyle

According to the Daily Record, Hibs have rejected a quite laughable offer from Aberdeen for winger Martin Boyle.

The report suggests that the Sheep have offered a laughable £500,000 for the Australian international.

The 28-year-old recently signed a new deal at Easter Road, and the Hibees are apparently on the verge of offering Boyle yet another, improved deal with the club.

Boyle is currently contracted to Easter Road until the summer of 2023, and his current deal was said to have a 500k release clause - clearly it hasn't.

There is also a rumour that any clause is for FOREIGN clubs.

Boyle has started the season how he ended the last one - on fire, it's unclear wether the Dons will make a bigger offer.

ED's VIEW:

Quite frankly, the offer is an absolute disgrace.

Boyle is one of the best players in tthe SPFL, and under contract for another two seasons.

Maybe the Dons believed the rumour that there is a 500k release clause in his deal?

It quite clearly isn't in place, or is it for foreign clubs, like some rumours have suggested?

Celtic have been linked with Boyler in the past, and so have a couple of English sides, but any offer would have to be in the £3m plus category for Hibs to even bite.

Maybe Hibs should offer £500k for the laddie Ferguson in return?
