Under fire Calderwood is set to swoop following yet another defeat yesterday, a terrible 3-0 loss to Dundee Utd at Tannadice.

The 30-year-old has played for a number of clubs accross europe, but has spent the last few seasons in England.

He played for Barnsley during the 2009/10 season, and did well scoriing 16 goals, and he even made in into the Daily Mail's top 10 signings of the season.

Despite this, he was released by Barnsley at the end of that season.

Bogdanovic was quickly snapped up by Sheff Utd, but has struggled to cement himself a first team slot.

Should Calderwood land the Maltese international, it will be his FIFTH January transfer window signing.
