Hibs have this afternoon secured the loan signing of Celtic midfielder Kris Commons.
Despite no official confirmation from Hibs yet, the 33-year-old passed a medical at East Mains this afternoon, and has been signed in time to play against Morton at Cappielow tommorow.
Commons has signed on an emergency loan deal, that can last for 93 days, although Hibs have signed the player on a 4 week deal but are expected to extend it when the January transfer window opens.
The Scotland international made 223 appearances for Celtic, and has also played for Derby County & Nottingham Forest.
He has played 527 games in his career, scoring 158 goals.
