Hibs' Steven Fletcher called upto Scotland squad for Czech Republic game!

Following straight on from winning this years Scottish Writers Young Player of the Year award, Hibs striker Steven Fletcher has been called up to George Burley's Scotland squad for the game against the Czech Republic.

The 21-year-old Real Madrid target has been rewarded for his continued fine form with his second call up to a full
Scotland squad - his first coming last month, when he started and set up Scotland's goal in a 1-1 draw with Croatia in March to earn his first cap.

Also called into the
Scotland squad are former Hibs players Kevin Thomson and Steven Whittaker, both now with Rangers and Ross McCormack of Motherwell, all three so far uncapped.

In all there are FOUR Hibernian youth products in the squad, Thomson, Whittaker, Kenny Miller (Now with
Derby County) and Fletcher.

Proving once again that the Cabbage has the best youth policy in the country.

Two other former Hibs players are included in the squad, Paul Hartley and Gary Caldwell also both make it.
