Hibs striker Ross Caldwell set to sign for Alloa on loan

Hibs forward Ross Caldwell is set to sign a loan deal with Championship side Alloa until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old will join Paul Hartley's side in the next few days, after the former Hibs midfielder targeted a new forward during the transfer window to bolster his sides attacking options.

Caldwell burst onto the scene at Easter Road last season, scoring a couple of goals, including a 90th minute screamer of a winner against Hearts at Tynecastle last season.

He has found game time hard to come buy under new boss Terry Butcher, and has joined the Wasps for some much needed game time.

A good move for the youngster, that will hopefully deliver goals.
