Hibs striker Steven Fletcher wins SPL Young Player of the Month award

Hibs striker Steven Fletcher has today been revealed as the SPL Young Player of the Month for March.

The award rounds of an excellent week for the forward, having grabbed his first and Scotland's winning goal in the World Cup Qualifying match with Iceland on Wednesday.

Fletcher, 21, was watched by a number of scouts at Hampden on Wednesday and this award can only add to his growing reputation.

Fletcher's award comes on the back of Hibs manager Mixu Paatelainen landing Manager of the Month for the same period.
