According to reports tonight, Hibs have made a surprise move for Clyde  keeper David Mitchell.

The 31-year-old has been targeted to provide cover as 3rd choice behind Matt Macey and Polish kid Kevin Dabrowski.

Hibs boss Jack Ross is said to want another keeper after losing No.1 Ofir Marciano under freddom of contract to Dutch giants Feyenoord during the summer.

Mitchell is experienced and has played for a number of clubs including Ayr United and Dundee.

ED'S VIEW:

This one is a strange on and has come out of left field.

Jack obviously feels wecould do with another keeper, but the only worry with this one, is the level he is coming from.

However, if he pulls on the Green shirt he will get our backing.
