Hibs have been linked with a move for ex Captain Ian Murray in one of this morning's tabloids.

According to the report,
Murray has failed to settle at Norwich City after his move south from Rangers in the summer.

The player has struggled with illness and injury since suffering from reactive arthritis in October 2006.

He has also struggled with illness since moving to Championship side
Norwich City in August.

Apparently
Norwich would not be difficult to deal with and John Collins seems to be interested in bringing the former captain back to Easter Road.

He signed a one year deal at Carrow Road in the summer, so is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning Hibs could possibly pick him up for a nominal fee in January.

Murray played 166 times for the Hibees, before making a controversial bosman move from Easter Road to Ibrox in the summer of 2005, for which he was constantly chastised for on his returns to Easter Road in a blue shirt.

After appearing over 40 times for Rangers he was released in the summer before moving south to
Norwich.

Murray has been capped 6 times for Scotland and was also the Scotland U21 captain with a bright future ahead of him, until he signed for Rangers………

Murray is a versatile player who can play left back, centre half or centre midfield, but would the Hibs support accept him back at Easter Road???

There must also be questions over the player's general fitness levels, as he seems to be struggling to get over his long term injury jinx.

Would you take him back??? Is he the player he once was????
