Hibs trial for West Brom keeper Alex Palmer

Last updated : 08 July 2016 By Steve Forbes

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has revealed that West Brom keeper Alex Palmer is heading to Edinburgh on trial.

The 19-year-old will train at the Hibees East Mains Training Centre, and Lennon has revealed will play in Sunday's pre-season friendly with Motherwell.

Lennon said:

“We’ve got a goalkeeper in Alex Palmer from West Brom, we’re going to have a look at him at the weekend.

“We’ve had permission from West Brom and the SFA to play him and we’ll give him a run out on Sunday."

Palmer has never played a first team game for the Baggies, but has spent some time out on loan with Kidderminster Harriers.
