Hibs winger Alan O'Brien called up to Republic of Ireland squad

Hibs winger Alan O'Brien has been called upto Steve Staunton's latest Republic of Ireland squad.

The winger, who cost Hibs a reported £400,000 from Newcastle United in the summer, has been called into the
Ireland squad to face Germany and Cyprus later on this month.

The Republic face
Germany on Saturday 13th October (7.45pm KO), before moving on to face Cyprus the following Wednesday night, October 17th (7.30pm KO).

The squad also includes former Hibs keeper Nick Colgan, now at
Barnsley.
