
It has been revealed that Hibs winger Alan O'Brien has turned down a loan move to English side Crewe Alexandra.

The player has turned the move down to instead stay in
O'Brien, 22, has started only two games from the start and has made most of his appearances from the bench.
"We thought we had signed him.
"I spent five hours last night trying to set it up.
"I spoke to the Hibs chairman about the international clearance regulations and what we needed to do there.
"We finally got there and he was expected to sign tomorrow, only to discover from his agent that the club wanted to keep him.
"I later found out the boy was reluctant to come."
It could have been a good move for the lad, to gain some first team experience to add to his undoubted talent, let's hope he starts to show why the club paid out compensation to get him here.
