Hibs winger Martin Boyle signs new contract

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has revealed that winger Martin Boyle has signed a new deal with the club.

"The flying squirrel" only signed a new two-year-deal in the summer, but speaking at the club AGM, Lennon has revealed that the 24-year-old has signed a new FOUR-year-deal.

The contract ties the Scottish Cup winning legend to Easter Road until 2021.

Lennon said:

“There has just been a huge improvement in him. He was always on his backside when I came in! He has learned to stay on his feet and I think he has worked hard on that over the summer.

“Don’t get me wrong, he is still six stone wet through! However, he can ride challenges.

“He brings us real pace and power and fits very well into our system so I’m delighted he’s agreed to the new contract.”

24-year-old Boyle has been on fire this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting with another 9!
