Hibs midfielder Scott Taggart has signed for second division side Ayr United.
18-year-old Taggart has signed for the Somerset Park side until January 2011.
The Glasgow born midfielder has just won the Hibees Academy Player of the Year, and will be hoping to impress, so he can push himself into the first team at Easter Road.
Taggart will come up against a number of Hibs youngsters while with Ayr.
Kurtis Byrne is on loan at East Fife, and both Calum Booth and Ewan Moyes are on loan at Brechin City.
