Hibs captain Rob Jones has today, once again, been linked with a move away from Easter Road.

The 6ft 7in stopper is apparently attracting the interest of
Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton.

Magilton has been handed a £12m transfer kitty for the January transfer window and its thought he will use £1m of this to make a fresh bid for 28-year-old Jones.

Ipswich Town bid for Jones in the summer but got knocked back, with Hibs raking in £10m in transfer money in the summer, they could afford to knock it back.

Now it seems the English Championship side will come back in January and test Hibs resolve in keeping their cup winning captain.

Only a couple of days ago, we told you how Celtic had been linked with a £1m move for David Murphy and now it's the turn of the Hibs captain.

We also had Steven Fletcher being linked with a £3m move to Rangers, Celtic and the English Premiership only last week, until he signed his new five and a half year deal!

Silly season is well and truly underway and there is still a month until the January transfer window opens!!!.
