Hibs have this afternoon announced that Marathonbet will continue as "club partner" after they signed up for another year.

The betting company will have it's name splashed accross the Hibees home and away strips again, like they have for the previous two years.

Speaking to the official website, after another 1-year-deal was agreed, Hibs CEO Leeann Dempster said:

“I am delighted to continue the partnership with Marathonbet for another season.

“We have enjoyed working with Marathonbet for the past two years, they have been a great sponsor and this extension underlines the strength of the relationship and the value that it generates for both parties.

“Following the recent Scottish Cup win and the appointment of Neil Lennon these are very exciting times at the football club, and we look forward to Marathonbet being with us in 2016/17.

“Now the deal has been completed we will finalise plans for the release of the home and away kits, which we’ll confirm to supporters in the coming weeks.”

Marathonbet CEO Viktor Hoffman added: “We’re thrilled to be able to announce the renewal of our partnership with Hibernian FC.

“Throughout the past two seasons we have come to learn what makes Hibernian such an extraordinary football club. We have also forged an invaluable bond with the club’s passionate and loyal fanbase and as part of this agreement, we will continue to offer them great odds, unique experiences and market-leading depth of betting opportunities through our trusted Marathonbet brand.

“It has been a pleasure to have been associated with such a monumental period of the club’s history, culminating with Hibs winning the Scottish Cup last month.

“We’ve also been lucky enough to have been involved in Scottish football at a time which has seen the club game go from strength to strength and become as competitive as it has ever been.

“We look forward to continuing this excellent partnership into the coming season and we wish Neil Lennon and his staff the very best of luck at Hibernian Football Club.”

Fantastic news.
