Hibs are today bracing themselves for yet another offer for in-form captain Rob Jones.

According to reports in today's press, English Championship side
Nottingham Forest are set to table a big money offer for the 6ft 7in defender.

The Hibees have already turned down three bids from Colchester United for the 2007 Scottish League Cup winning captain, £100,000 was quickly turned down and followed up with a £250,000 bid.

The Hibees also turned that down and an offer of £500,000 was lodged, this third approach was also thrown out.

Jones has attracted the interest of
Forest and Colchester as well as Leicester City, Bristol City and Leeds United.

Forest boss Billy Davies is thought to be on the verge of making a £1.2m offer for Jones, who is out of contract in 18 months time.

We understand that the offer is likely to be £1m up-front and a further £200,000 should Forest survive relegation from the Championship.

The 29-year-old has now played over 100 games for the Hibees and scored 12 goals in the process, but he has also not hidden the fact that he would one day like to play in
England again.

Jones signed from
Grimsby Town for £150,000 in 2006 and has also played for Stockport, Macclesfield Town and Gateshead.
