Old Firm and English Giants linked with Hibs pair Caldwell & Forster

Hibs youngsters Jordon Forster and Ross Caldwell have been linked with big moves away from Easter Road today, despite having not made a first team appearance for the Hibees.

Bellshill born Caldwell, 18, and Edinburgh native Forster, also 18, have both been superb for the Hibees U19 side this season, and it has not gone unnoticed.

Both Celtic and Rangers have been linked with the pair, as well as unnamed clubs in England, although Hibs-Mad understands that Fulham and Aston Villa are the interested parties.

Striker Caldwell has been banging the goals in this season, and Forster has been a rock in the centre of defence.

The good news for Hibs fans is that the club is currently in talks, to sign both players up on long term deals at Easter Road.

The Hibees, of course, have a superb youth system, that is famous for the quality players it produces, from as far back as John Collins, and our "golden generation" of five years ago that included Scott Brown, Steven Whittaker, Kevin Thomson, Ian Murray, Garry O'Connor & Derek Riordan.

As well as current first teamers Paul Hanlon, Callum Booth and David Wotherspoon.

Hopefully these two kids stay, and are the next products off of the famous conveyor belt at East Mains.
