On loan Hibs striker Jamie Maclaren has managed to force his way in to Australia's prelimenary World Cup Squad.
Aussie manager Bert van Marwijk has inlcuded him in a squad of 32, which will be trimmed down to 26 ahead of a training camp in Turkey at the end of May.
Maclaren, on loan from gemran side Darmstadt, has been superb since joining the Hibees in January, scoring 5 goals in 13 games, including strikes against Celtic, Rangers and Hearts.
Bert van Marwijk revealed that he has been to Edinburgh to spy on the player, and that he has impressed the Socceroos boss.
