Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall has revealed that he is attempting to secure on loan Hibs youngster Damon Gray until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old forward has scored three goals in just two games for the Jags, since joining on loan two weeks ago, to gain some first team experience after scoring 40+ in the Hibs reserve and U19 sides over the last couple of years.

Gray grabbed a double on his debut against
Clyde as Thistle won 4-1 and then scored the winner against Livingston on Wednesday as they ran out as 2-1 winners.

Now McCall has revealed that he would like to keep the young Englishman at Firhill longer than the original month loan deal, he said:

"Damon Gray did well at the weekend but then again it was a good all round team performance.

"We will monitor the situation with Gray and I will keep in touch with Hibernian over the next few weeks about keeping him a little bit longer.

"I would like to see both Gray and Buchanan up front and hopefully that can happen."
