Hibs have today revealed that both defender Steven Thicot and striker Daryll Duffy are free to leave the club.

The club has released an official statement on its official site, with the list of out-of-contract players that won’t be offered a new deal at the club.

TEN players are on the list, with the other eight already known to be leaving the club, they are as follows: Colin Nish, John Rankin, Kevin McBride, Ewan Moyes, Thomas Flynn, Kurtis Byrne, Kevin McCann and Valdas Trakys.

Steven Thicot joined the club from French club Nantes after his release from the Ligue 2 side.

The versatile 24-year-old has played over 40 games for the Hibees, but has failed to hold down a regular place in the side since Mixu Paatelainen signed him in 2008.

The Clairefontaine graduate is now free to find himself a new club in the summer.

The 10th player to be told he has no future in Leith is on loan Bristol Rovers striker Daryll Duffy.

The 27-year-old Scotland B cap joined the Hibees on a season long loan from Rovers in the summer, but broke his foot before he could make an appearance in the famous green and white.

He only returned to action around January, after he picked up a thigh injury after recovering from the broken foot.

Duffy failed to hold down a regular spot in the side, and only made 7 appearances for the club before being told he would not be offered a deal with the club once his loan period was up this summer.

The former Falkirk, Swansea, Hull and Rangers front man will return to Bristol Rovers at the end of the season, but he is also out-of-contract with English side, and will most likely be looking for a new club in the summer.

Hibs have also revealed that they are still talks with four other out-of-contract players about new deals at the club.

Derek Riordan, Liam Miller, Francis Dickoh and Graham Stack are all currently thought to have been offered terms to stay at Easter Road.

Hibernian-Mad would like to thank all ten players for their efforts in a Hibs shirt and wish them well in their future careers.
