The Hibees beat Andorran side Santa Coloma 1-2 awy from home to secure a 5-1 aggregate win.

Hibs scored through Jamie Murphy and Daniel Mackay in the second half, after going down 1-0.

Rijeka will now visit Easter Road next Thursday, 5th August 2021, for the first leg, with the away leg in Croatia seven days later.

Hibs attention will now turn to the Premiership opener against Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday.

Elsewhere Aberdeen lost 2-0 away from home to Swedish side BK Hacken, but still progressed 5-3 over the two legs.

ED'S VIEW:

A good performance from Hibs, they probably should have scored more, but it's still early in the season, and hopefully we've a few more gears to find.

Rijeka will be a tough opponent, but the tie is winnable, let's hope the Hibees can see them off and take another step towards the group stages of the Conference League.
