Aberdeen come to town for the first game of the season

Hibs have been handed a difficult start to the SPL campaign. We have Aberdeen at home on August 3, then Hearts away one week later. Following that, we entertain Alex McLeish's Rangers on August 17.

We don't have the license to print the whole fixture list, but the New Year's day derby is back, with us going to Tynecastle on January 2 2003. Our only other set game against Hearts takes place on 2 November at Easter Road.

The fact that we finished in the bottom six last season, and they finished in the top six means there are only three arranged, with a fourth if we are in the same grouping after the split.
