Hibs Get Good News On The Injury Front For The Falkirk Game!

Hibs were handed a massive boost ahead of Saturday's SPL clash with Falkirk, when it was revealed that all three players that missed the 6-0 skelping of Grenta in the CIS Cup will be fit to face the Bairns.

Steven Whittaker, Ivan Sproule and Moroccan wizard Merouane Zemmama are all expected to return to training today ahead of Saturday's game against Ex Hibs captain John Hughes' Falkirk.

Sproule & Whittaker both picked up minor knocks in the 2-1 win over Rangers on Sunday and were not risked against Gretna.

Zemmama picked up a hamstring during last Sunday's 3-0 rout of Dundee Utd and has been out of contention since.

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray now has a selection headache on who to leave out of the side, Mogga said:

"It's good that I'm being given these problems, that players are making life difficult. It's fantastic that players who haven't started many games are coming in and making an impact such as Dean scoring two goals.

"I've been telling the players that, when opportunities are there, they have to grasp them, that it's not about 11 players but the squad and that they'll all have a part to play."

Good News!
