Hibs in talks with mystery signing target!

Last updated : 27 March 2007 By Steve Forbes

Hibs boss John Collins today revealed that he had entered in to talks with a possible summer signing target over the International weekend.

Collins jetted out to an unknown location to take in a couple of games and a mystery player has caught his eye that much, that he has entered in to signing talks with the player already.

The Hi-Bees already have the CIS Cup in the bag after the 5-1 thrashing of
Kilmarnock in last Sunday's final, they are also in the last four of the Scottish Cup and in with a chance of a top three finish in the SPL and it looks like Collins isn't hanging around on building for next season.

As well as the mystery player, Hibs have already snapped up young
York City goal machine Clayton Donaldson on a bosman in time for next season.

Hibs boss John Collins said of his spying mission:

"It was a good weekend. I was talking with an individual with a view to something happening in the summer, We'll find out within a week to two weeks whether anything comes of it or not."

It seems there will be a lot of movement in and out of Easter Road this summer, Jamie McCluskey is set to go and it is thought he could be joined by Simon Brown, Zibi Malkowski, Sam Morrow, Jay Shields & Stephen Glass.
