Hibs Midfield Wizard Merouane Zemmama Ready To Return!!!!

Last updated : 10 February 2007 By Steve Forbes

Hibs received some fantastic news today, when it was revealed that midfield wizard Merouane Zemmama is almost ready to return from injury.

Zemmama will make his comeback from a hamstring injury in Tuesday night's reserve fixture against Rangers.

Merouane has been out since damaging his hamstring in the 5-1 win over St Mirren on December 23rd.

It is though
Scotland's heavy pitches at this time of year are to blame for Zemmama's hamstring problems, the same thing happened to striker Benji last year, when he first arrived from Morocco.

It is thought Zemmama will also play against
Falkirk reserves next Tuesday before he gets some first team action.

Hibs boss John Collins was delighted with the news and said:

"It is likely to be another couple of weeks before Merouane is pushing for a first-team place but when he is it will be like making a new signing."

Superb news ahead of both our cup adventures.
