Hibs striker Sam Morrow has joined First Division side Partrick Thistle on loan until the end of the season.

It is thought Morrow will make his debut against St Johnstone at Firhill tonight.

Morrow has just battled back from a serious knee injury that he picked up while on loan at
Livingston last season.

Partick Thistle boss Dick Campbell said:

"We all know that we don't have the biggest squad and to be without a whole host of players at this time means that we are really stretched so to be able to bring in a new player and a striker, who I am convinced is going to give us something that we currently do not have, is a great boost for us all.

I am not sure yet whether he will go straight into the side on Saturday, the deal was only finalised late on Friday afternoon so he hasn't had the chance to work with us in our preparations. We might start with him on the bench, but rest assured he will be a big player for us in the remaining fixtures this season."

Morrow actually signed for the Jags on Friday night but missed Saturday's game against St Johnstone up in
Perth. Partick play St Johnstone again tonight with Morrow likely to play some part in the fixture.
