It has been reported in some areas of today's press that Hibs striker Sam Morrow is on the verge of joining Chesterfield on loan until the end of the season.

Morrow is just back from a serious knee injury and is struggling to break into the Hibs first team.

Sam ruptured his knee ligaments last season, while on loan at Livingston.

Hibs boss John Collins recentley came out and said Morrow WOULDN'T be going on loan because of the injury to Hibs top scorer Chris Killen.

Now it seems he may be heading to League 1 side Chesterfield until the end of the season.

This is maybe what Sam needs, after struggling since joining the Hibees.

Morrow joined Hibs on a free transfer from Ipswich Town in 2004.
