Ipswich gaffer sings on at Easter Road

Highly rated and qualified coach Mowbray is believed by the board as the one who is to bring back the old Hibs philosophy of "entertaining and winning football."

The new gaffer said: “I am delighted to be given this opportunity at Hibernian. I have spoken to many people about the Club and I am well aware, from my time in Scotland, of the stature of this Club and its tradition for entertaining and attacking football. I would like to let the supporters know that my philosophy is all about fast-flowing, passing football with a cutting edge. That is what I will be working to instil here at Hibernian, and that is what I am determined our supporters will see. They want to win, and they want to be entertained. It is our job to give them that.”

The former Middlesbrough and Celtic captian and Ipswich manager is set to make an impact yet again in Scottish football.

I am personally hoping for AT LEAST a top six spot next year and I am looking forward to a long and successful rein for the Englishman.
