Now you know how it feels, Celtic

It is now quite apparent that Leeds United want Celtic manager Martin O'Neill to be their next boss.

After the sacking of David O'Leary, they're set to make their move for O'Neill. What if he does takes over? Will his first signing be O'Connor? I O'doubt it, but the thought of this brings someone to mind, and a little smile to my face.

Martin O'Neill
Leeds bound? I hope so!
The Celtic fans are now giving all the "Don't go, Martin" and "Keep your promise to stay" blah, blah blah. Now you know how it feels when a more attractive proposition comes along for one of your employees, don't you?

I am, virtually all Hibs fans are, and for that matter all SPL clubs outside the Old Firm are sick to death of Celtic and Rangers deciding that if a player has had a decent game against them, or done well and looking like a good prospect decide they must have him.

It doesn't matter that he won't get a game, or change the fact that you both moan about the lack of competition in Scotland all the while taking all the best players, you have to have him.

This close season alone Rangers have been linked with Garry O'Connor. Indeed, the rumours in Edinburgh suggest he's already signed on at Ibrox, it's just that the announcement is being delayed for the sake of season ticket sales at ER. Didier Agathe, Kenny Miller, Pat McGinlay, Andy Goram, John Collins - it's quite a list, and that's only from us! There's still all the Hearts players the Glasgow giants wanted, took, and some never even played.

Even this season, David Fernandez of Livingston couldn't help himself and jumped ship. You can't blame the players. They(rightly so), see it as a step up and want to better themselves, so they go. It doesn't matter if they don't get a game and end up in the Nationwide Division 1 after a year, at least you got em, eh?

Well, now the boot's on the other foot. Leeds want O'Neill again. Now, while there's no doubt that Celtic are a bigger club than Leeds United, they are a much better option. Bigger league, more money, higher profile, better players etc etc. All the reasons Celtic and Rangers want to play down there.

But Celtic fans say "no". Please stay, don't go. Stay up here for a few more years. We say that to our good prospects, but you still want 'em. So maybe you should feel what it's like to left in the lurch by one of your biggest talents.

So why shouldn't Martin go? There's loads of reasons - I've gave a few above. Personally, I think he'll stay(Although I'd want him to go!). He seems like a man of his word. and anyway, The Man U job will be up in a couple of seasons!
